Android Marshmallow 6 on our Xperia Z5

Good Morning to You ALL !

This is our big day

Our most expected day

Android 6 MM has landed on our Xperia Z5

FW is 32.1.A.1.163, so it contains a lot of bugfixes with introduction of MM 6 Android

Right now, is rolling for different models and on different countries so in few hours, or in one or two day, it will be on your phone, unless u're on a branded-operator phone where u should wait more days to come

So, 7th March was right as we expected based on TWITTER INFO by Sony Xperia GB Winking_Face

More news to come !

Hey everyone,

anyone noticed any fixed issues with the latest 32.1.A.1.185? I'm just trying to figure out if anything has been changed here, it's a little bit like collecting a change log (one of Sony's top secrets) Grinning_Face

I would say yes .163 update on my z5 is pretty awesome and stable..

Only if sony changed the black status bar to blend with themes as it was in android 5.1.1

I got this issue with the *.185 update. I can't tell which apps might cause this. The total percentage used power of all apps/hardware/services together is not even covering half of the drained battery percentage. I have 100+ apps, so it will take me a while to figure things out.

Just last night 2016-04-13 received notice of new software update available. Excited to know what version is that. disappointed that it was an old version compared to Singapore support site dated since 2016-04-07.

consumers have paid a premium price but do not receive premium service in return.

Hi guys,

Let me get this straight, there is no stamina mode for new Android 6.0?

Regards.

Thank you,

I will wait till they reintroduce it. But maybe stamina days are over, maybe now it is overlapping in funcionality with Android 6 itself?

Regards.

@wodzu

I found Doze working quite well: when the phone is left alone battery drain is very low. Maybe it should even kick in before the 30 minutes and get even better.

The neglectible thing is that radio bug it is still there whereas I have read that some other brands overcamed it.

32.1.A.1.185 Update Review

1.)no ui changes whatsoever

2.) a bit faster perhaps? not really sure, must be because I performed factory reset beforehand

3.) themes app ui changed, ( the cat will sleep if you don't do anything for a while, then wakes up if you touch it,

4.) battery seems a bit better too. i once had the phone stayed up to 2 and half days with wifi on.

5.) my bluetooth connection is stable despite other people reporting disconnection bugs

6.) missing volume arrow down bug might be fixed.. cross fingers

7.) Small app/nav buttons overlap bug (never had this issue before.soo.)

8.) still the same boot time... long

9.) missing Icons on Battery Usage bug, still present

These are exactly the kind of posts that keep me from updating.

Nope... not gonna happen... up your game, Sony.
