android application download

hi, im having a xperia X10 mobile, i want to download mobile applications using my laptop ( with internet). i had tried to install it from android market, its showing as installed. but its not downloading in my laptop or mobile. can u tell me how to do this process step by step pls.

you cannot downlod via pc..

i assume you are thinking that it will be installed on pc first then your mobile.. no...

phone requires its own internet connection for any appliction to download..
