Android 5.1.1 Upgrade problems

My Z2 keeps restarting after I upgraded to 5.1.1, I kindly need assistance.

Did you try to reset the phone after the update? If not, I would recommend that you try it.

My z2 after update 5.1.1 does not startup for alarms if it is shutdown.

After 5.1.1 upgrade messaging is crazy slow- just opening text only messages takes up to ten seconds. Have tried clearing cache etc no use. Any suggestions?

Problems noted so far:
1. All open apps autoclose on connecting or disconnecting magnetic charger.
2. Phone hangs once in a while and auto reboots.
3. For sometime after phone boot hitting the home button will cause the phone to hang again.
4. Certain apps don't launch at certain times. Sometimes it starts working after sometime. If not, phone reboot is the only option.
5. Phone battery discharges more quickly than on 5.0 version.
6. Apps blocked from notification settings get unblocked automatically after sometime.
7. Video app freezes a video while using position slider and is never able to play that specific video again. I use 3rd party video app now.
8. The volume control app automatically decreases volume while listening to music or playing video warning me of dangerous volume levels even though the volume maybe at 70%.

After doing a fantastic job with 5.0 upgrade i'm very disappointed to see such a bad job done by Sony on the 5.1 upgrade. I hope they will fix this soon. If not I might need to roll back to 5.0

hello was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problems as me after the latest update , keeps turning itself off for no reason and as from today after using google maps it overheated to the point I couldn't hold it turned off and is now dead have tried charging it also tried holding the up volume button and the power button both while charging and not charging also the master reset button beside the sim card slot phone is going back to vodafone again for the 3rd time with the same problem also is there any official post from sony saying there is a problem with the z2 about these issuses thank you
