Android 5.1.1 problems

Updated my phone around two weeks ago to android 5.1.1 and since my phone has been a complete nightmare.
I own an Xperia Z1 and many of the functions have either competely stopped working or are becoming a huge hassle.
For instance, camera, COMPLETELY stops working after around 4-5 minutes of use and will not work again until I reset my phone. Instead the screen goes black and says ERROR camera not available.
Music, I cannot relax while using the music app as the amount of hassle to get it to work properly is unreal. I will connect to a device no problem, but then say I press the rewind button or next track it will freak out. Says its playing, shows the seconds going by but not a single noise is being made through my device or paired device. Also, been having a lot of trouble with phone freezing and turning off my music and all other apps I am using.
Phone also randomly stops responding to my touch in certain areas, now I know it's not the screen as after a reset it will work perfectly again but say Im trying to call someone....the three main buttons at the bottom work fine BUT the buttons representing the numbers, not a single one works....this is not always, but at times like today when I NEED to call someone in a rush and I cannot physically do it...I can get pretty stressed with my phone.
Really hope someone has an answer for me as to why my Xperia has been freaking out so badly these past two weeks, thanks.

Try to repair the phone with Sony PC Companion

Usually updating to major versions without resetting your phone may lead to such instability, we always advise that you wipe your phone and reinstall your latest software by performing a Software Repair via PC Companion as Phy suggested, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory. Take a backup of your important data stored on phone memory (SD card content will not be affected).

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.
