I've seen the possible dates for kitkat and this phone in the near future...but does anyone know anything about android 5.0 and the z1 or any other Sony xperiap phone for that matter!

What would you want with 5.0 key lime pie?It has not been released officially yet.

Speaking in very general terms,

An interface that doesn't mimic or resemble ios in any way

Better performance of applications and screen useage for high power phones ie. Z1/s

Even more sophisticated 'ok google' interactions

I have a few more thoughts but I'll wait and see if kitkat does the job
