Android 5.0 update stopped incoming and outgoing calls

Hi,
I installed the new 5.0 update on my z1 compact last weekend but since yesterday (4 days after the update) I cant receive or make any phone calls. It says conditional call forwarding is enabled. I can't turn this off as when I go to call settings it says network or sim card error. I can send and receive text messages.
I have called my network provider who didn't know how to fix this but said it was definitely due to the Update?
Please can someone help?

Just checked what version I'm on and it actually says 5.0.2 not sure if this changes Anything?

Try an app preferences reset - Settings then Apps then tap the 3 dots then tap Reset app preferences then reboot and test - Bear in mind that this will also reset ringtones and alarms as well as other personal settings you have made
