The camera seems to start faster when accessed from the shutter button and the time till you take the picture (the lag) is shorter. Seems the in manual mode the focus is not hunting. I need to test it more.
I am going to travel a bit an I will force the camera as much as I can.
One oddity so far: After upgrade I went to sleep and set the alarm clock. Week end, late alarm... However I woke up to find that the phone was switched off. I did set the alarm again several times. So far no issues.
The following behavior: listening to music on headphones / phone call / phone call ends / massive drop in sound volume and quality - volume up won't restore the volume. Seems gone as well.
The camera still freezes... I simple lock of the screen solves it but it still freezes.
On the other hand the start up time is faster and lag is improved. Autofocus also seems slightly better.
The camera freeze is getting worse. Is freezing more and more often.
Sony, really, is horrible
Hi! I just got the notification that there's a new update 14.4.A.0.108 ready to be installed. But i have exactly that version installed on my phone. Does anyone maybe know if this is a real update or just a wrong notification?
I am on 4.4.2, I get a 167 MB download, but upon install get the Could not install message
I guess it is an incorrect release
That appears fixed now, redowbnloading the update now says 6 minutes to update rather than 21 and it appears to be updating
I imagine the incorrect file was set for download, or not uploaded correctly
I have had that message several times today. I tried to use the Sony for Mac software, though I'd previously set it up to use Android File transfer so I guess it got confused.
I'll wait till it is happy. (Is there anyway that I can remove the update files it's downloaded to the phone, so that it's not filling up the memory. Wherever it's downloaded them to, it's not the download folder!
I have just installed 4.4.4 as well, hopefully it fixes the playback to my Marley bluetooth speaker... old Android 2.2 phone plays to it fine... So did the Z1C before the 4.4.2 update...
