Android 4.0.4 Build number 4.0.1.B.431--->new "Gallery" and video playback problem

Hello.!

     I upgraded my xperia pro from Gingerbread to Android 4.0.4 ICS, Build number 4.1.B.0.431 on June 11 and I liked it.

The ics update has placed a new "Gallery" wherein the images taken on my cam are not downgraded unlike with the xperia gallery. But after some time, when i already have a lot of photos in the Gallery, the thumbnails shown are not correct. I mean the images shown when I view the images as thumbnails are different from the actual image when i click it. How can i fix it?

     I also encounter problems regarding video playback. I know that the xperia pro can only support .mp4 video formats. But there are a lot of movie players in the android market which allows me to watch any video format i'd like to (ie. MX player)...after the ICS update, i installed the player and it runs as expected and i could watch any movie. But whenever I try to navigate through the movie like change the time/position it won't just allow me, it goes back to the start. I even tried to install the MX player ARMv7 NEON but it's still not working...even tried other two players. I think the update messed up my entertainment in the xperia pro. now I can't watch a movie, pause it, do something else, and resume my movie. Please help me with this. Thanks a lot and Godbless.

you have 2 ways to downgrade

1) take it to a sony repair center

or

2) manually downgrade your phone

First format your memory card and then repair you phone with SUS.

If possible use class 10 microSD card.

Now try, if no success then proceed for downgrade.

you can use mobo player also quickpic for your picures

i formatted my memory card a few days ago.

Now i'm trying the SUS.

and how do I know what class my microSD card is?

tried mobo player, still not working just like mx player

remove the SD card from your phone and you should be able to see a circle with a number inside

I don't know what the class is yet. I can't remove the microSD card now because i'm updating it with the SUS.

I'm using the 8 gb microSD card that comes with the phone when I bought it.

Do you think using class 10 card would fix it?
