Hi everyone,
I can confirm the Walkman issue so many of you have, too. The player won't go to the next track after finishing the previous one. Even with a different player, the phone just won't skip to the next track unless I turn the screen on.
But what bothers me even more, is that Sony has not even implemented gapless playback, which was a higly requested and much touted Jellybean feature and should be one of Sony's main priorities to include in the update since they focus so much on music. It really is a shame I could listen effortlessly to my music with my 3 year old Galaxy S and that I can't do the same with a brand new Xperia T!
As for the lockscreen: when I turn the screen on from stand-by, it needs some time to load the wallpaper, which leads to a black screen with only icons for half a second. It is quite annoying.
Performance wise, project butter works good, but there are times when scrolling (whether it be in a menu, list, notification area or multitasking menu) just becomes slow, laggy and stuttering. It feels like having a 150 Euro phone in my hands.
What else? Ah yes, the launcher: when opening the drawer, the apps on the home screen go up SO fast that at a point they get stuck on the upper part of the screen for half a second. What about that, Sony?
I am quite disappointed with all these issues the new update brought. I really hope Sony doesn't ditch us and solves all our problems regarding the update
Hi coomb,
I have the same issue with walkman app but other apps works ok. For example Google music player works great and the lockscreen widget also works with it. Also after JB update walkman app worked great and also HAD gapless playing but after few hours it started to behave as others said - not switching/switching with 40 sec delay to the next song with screen off and headphones attached.
