It seens to me the sensor doen' work at all. Anycase thre is no automatic regulation of brigtness and any reaction to brightness of ambient light. Moreover, the Easy Battery Saver says that there is no light sensor on the phone.
Is it defect of hardware or software?
It's a software problem. My light sensor works fine in the test in the service menu, but there is no automatic brightness regulation at all in the OS. It doesn't matter what you change the brightness settings to, the feature simply does not work. It's too bad really.
try to run a simple test. *#*#7378423#*#*
service test >ambient light sensor
try to flash a bright light on the sensor , does the values change?
Thank you, it works.
But it's unclear why is it need in the phone if it works in service mode for tests only
hmm, is your light brightness max?
if you like, you can search google play for apps that controls ambient light .
