Alarm not working (sort of)

Phone's alarm suddenly stop working as expected. Alarm is sounding when set, the problem is the "slide to dismiss" (forgot the actual text) screen is not showing. So no choice but to turn off phone. Now I installed 3rd party app just for alarm.
