Alarm do not wake up

Hello,

I have an Xperia M4 Aqua since december 2015.

Sometime my alarm do not wake up by there own, but when I put on the screen it start to ring.

The phone in not turned off.

What I have already made :

- Restart the phone

- Delete the set up off the Alarm and set up a new one

- Change the song

- Move song from SD card to Internal memory

- Put again the mobile in origin Factory set up and re set up all applications.

- I don't have any task killer nor anti-virus

- I am not in stamina mode.

- The OS is Lollipop 5.0 up to date.

Thanks a lot for your feed back.

Regards,

Frédéric

@FMXperia

Do you have any battery apps or clean master apps?

Do you experience the same in >>> safe mode

Thanks for your feed back

I don't have any battery Apps but I have AVAST cleanup. I will delete it.

Looking at the safe mode. It is quite difficult to estimate. In full mode it is not full time unworking, sometime the Alarme wake up rightly, sometime not. It may happen one or two time per month. Not easy to keep the mobile in Safe mode during all this period.

I think this happen when I have not restarted the mobile since a long time but i am not 100% sure Slightly_frowning_Face

I will delete AVAST cleanup and get back in the comming weeks if I have not notice any problem.

Thank you.

Hello,

This morning the alram does not work again. So Avast cleanup was not at the origin of this Slightly_frowning_Face

But as usual after tunring on the screen, the Alarm start to ring.

Do you think reinstalling the last version of Android may be an answer of this problem ? How can I force a reinstallation of the OS ?

Any other idear which can solve this ?

@FMXperia

That's what I would do, repair the phone with PCC > do NOT install any app > uninstall any preloaded antivirus > test it for few hours

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

Xperia Companion (XC)

Software Repair Guide

Alternatives on How to backup Xperias

Hello,

Thanks you for your feed back.

Effectivelly after reinstalling the OS and selecting the applications to run on my phone. It seems to be OK.

But quite difficult for me to be 100% sure that this will not happen again.
