Alarm Clock & Battery Issues

Hi, the new system update 9.2.A.0.295 (Android 4.3) brings some problems to the Alarm Clock and Battery Power. The Alarm Clock couldn't add and delete alarms as it didn't show the "+" and ":" signs at the bottom on the alarm page sometimes till after restarting the phone. The battery consumes too fast than previous update. The percentage seems to drop after every few seconds even when not using Mobile Data and/or apps that will use up much battery power. Hope something can be done to fix them asap.

Hi guys

for alarm :

      you can try to clear cache and data , by doing

settings -> apps ->all -> clock -> clear cache/data ,then you can restart phone do disable the clock and enable back, you can find this option where you found clear cache

about battery :

after updating it takes time , same happened to my phone when i did updated the software (which is not 4.3)

what I did

i read in some post saying, charge the battery for entire night(only once)!!! after updating, i felt what it does, but believe it did some trick, so before i going to bed, i kept my phone to charge for entire night, then morning restarted phone, from then i dont had any issues about battery, i am not sure it might work for you people, but worth a shot

let us know

No i think its a bug. With 4.3 upade battery drain is very fast even stamina mode is on. I think new stamina mode not working properly and os is eating battery :-(. I think bug fix update will fix the issue. 😉

Thanks for the advices, Manjuboyz. I have followed your instructions but the clock stills work weird (again without the options of adding/deleting alarms sometimes) and, the battery drains so fast that I needed to charge the phone the second time within one day even while the Stamina was switched on and during Sleep (Standby) Mode.

Thanks. I did try that next. Now, it drains off fast within seconds when Mobile Data is on, playing games or accessing Album/Camera (unlike the previous version).

When you tap to add new alarm and have adjusted the settings to what you want then in the top left corner you may have a tick which you need to tap to save the alarm and it's settings

Hi Thommo, I knew that before posting the first message on very top. I did not have had the problem of setting and saving alarm times. I only meant the + and : (Desk clock/Delete alarms) signs were missing at times till restarting the phone or tapping the U-turn (previous) sign at the left bottom which besides Home icon on the phone.
