Ain't able to connect to a Wi-Fi server!

I bought a Xperia S Lt26i this month(november), that night I upgraded it to 6.1.A.2.45 ICS 4.0.4. Am experiencing a good update, but the thing is I'm unable to connect to any wi-fi. Whenever I try to connect to any available wi-fi serves, it's just, nothin' happens! It just shows wi-fi server is saved but it ain't connectin' to it.

Could someone help me in it? Am worried!

Did this work before you installed the latest update?

If so, I'd recommend trying a software repair to see if this corrects the problem you are facing.
