After Updating 4.1.2 in Xperia P Call log lag & Scrolling Not Smooth

Dear Support Forum,

Few days back I have updated my xperia p 4.04 to 4.1.2. After Updating this frimware my device get lag in call log and also while scrolling the call log it gets struggle to scroll smoothly. I have made a issue report in google code page, I have received the following message.

Hello,

To flash cyanogenmod 9 (freexperiaproject version FP216):

I have unlocked my bootloader,

I have flashed "boot.img" from ZIP file with fastboot (On Android's SDK),

I have rebooted my phone on the recovery,

I have flashed the custom ROM and Google Apps (I have APK of youtube and flashplayer too...)

So now, I really love this ROM (incredibley SMOOOOOTH and FAAAST) but I also love the design of Sony's ROM ... So my heart is balancing ... Should I install Sony's Jellybean rom OR should I keep my CM9 ...

So, I have installed the original firmware "central europe" from sony and Phone.apk provided by RubinOwnz ...

After a reboot, I have to say that there is a big improvement (but not smooth like on CM)

It will start lagging again. It sucks. There is no way to fix it as long as we don't get a root method. SONY IS TO LAZY TO MAKE A FIX FOR IT.

The easiest method to root jb for xperia p is following this method:

I used that in page 2 from the user hopper_.

It's take about 4-5 hours to download jb by ota.

Use always stock rom no custom rom, could use for add at the stock rom the app set cpu.

After that i have updated the phone at jb by titanium backup pro i closed\removed all the blotware(system).

Use also Greenify *root* apk you can hybernate all the app that you need.

These two programs should be inclusive in every distribution if google, telco reseller and app producer continue to add blotware and hardware requirements every new release.

Now my xperia p is fast as the light ... but sometimes i have to restart the phone for the call lag (i bougth one telephone  ... call, ring, answer) one time every two days ... but it depends.

In any case jb for xperia p is a very nice release, when Sony 'll release the patch for the call lag(i hope that not worse the rest), we 'd have the best 4inch phone.

Hi, Yes! after replace XZ phonebook.apk to my current XP phonebook...it works smooth!

Previously, my problem is lag when incoming calls ringtone is slow after 2 second....

now no more!

Hi, i have add onother app to my black list Shazam(same SoundHound).

i was using my phone for 3 days, without any call lag in incoming\outgoing call, with many active app: Viber, WhatsApp, Facebook, Opera, Google Map, Gmail, AquaMail, Babylon, Pulse ... etc. I used Shazam to recognize one song, after that the phone start with call lag. i have tried two times(after rebooting)  more,  same behave.

My black list: Shazam, SoundHound, CSipSimple, ShakeCall, VoipStunt, Skype.

I am not sure but my hypothesis it's that jb for xperia p have some incompatibility with the system audio recoder or something like that.

The customer service could forward to the tester team this dubt.

Finally after many weeks of having trouble I got tired and bought an S4...it's unbelievable that a brand like sony has this service and problems with their phones...first and last xperia phone I will ever have...Completely dissapointed. BTW this is like having a car but you can't use it's engine and this kind of bugs in a smartphone...really? We are in the 21'st century and phones at least should work with calls instead of lagging...I expected more of customer service but I remembered that they delivered jelly bean a few weeks ago and it was released since August...so what can we expect of Sony? good bye sony

I face the same problem.every time i recive a call after i updated my phone to JB, it gets stuck ....or even if i try to make a call i cannot see the calling screen for almost 5 to 10  seconds and suddenly the call screen pops up  and you get to know your call already went through. its really annoying .
