add to contacts from sms

I have a messge with a vcf file in it. I tap on the file, choose "save contact" - it appears to save, or at least there is no error message.

But the contact does not appear in my contacts list, nor can I import it from internal storage or SIM card. Where is the contact saved to and how do I import it?

Out of interest, when I registered with sony, there was no E4 to select from the range of models!

Hi,

When you tap at the vCard file, do you get to choose how to save the contact? Such as Local contact or to your Google account?

You can check so there are no filter settings that you have enabled: Go to Contacts > Menu button > Filter > Check Local contacts and also your Google account.

when I tap "save contact", I get no further messages, the floating widow just goes. There are no filters applied to my contact list.

But you see the information that it's importing the contact? And the pop up window with "Contacts imported"?
