After booting up , the message "unfortunately account manager has stopped working" appears. I called Sony support and was advised that my software has probably been corrupted and that I need to do a repair via Sony companion which i have done. I also tried the quick reboot with the power and volume button held down simultaneously. None of this has worked. Any suggestions?
Oops forgot to mention that my phone is a Z5. This problem also seems to affect some of my apps which won't open .
Could you repair the phone once more with XC and report back

Don't know if this has anything to do with it but my phone wasnot fully charged to 100 percent from the first time I started using it. It had a charge of about 91 percent when I performed the repair as well. I did not attempt to repair the second time.. I left it to fully charge and once that was done, all was back to normal. Coincidence?

That's odd but I'm glad that it's working now.
