Hello,
I would like to know if there is a Keyboard Shortcut for showing the Notification Panel on the phone...
I recently got my Logitech Keyboard K810 and love how Sony improved the whole functionality (coming from the Acro S in 4.1.2)... I love how I can select apps from the Recent App list with the keyboard (previously impossible), and how you can even use Small Apps with it.
I added a shortcut to turn the screen Off using the Llama app, and set Bluetooth unlock with the keyboard as well.... this way I don't even need to touch the Power Button on my phone... However...
The only functionality I need is to actually get into the notification panel directly from the keyboard. And if its possible with MHL CEC, using the Yellow button on your TV's Remote Control, it should be possible with a standard Windows Keyboard.
Any ideas?
I've been testing this here but i'm afraid i haven't been able to find any keyboard shortcut for this. I will forward this internally though and let you know if i find a solution.
Thanks Rickard,
I have managed to find a workaround but I would still love to get native functionality of this.
My workaround includes 2 apps, the first one is "Status Bar Expander" which create an icon that does exactly what it says when you tap on it.
The second app was for comodity, "Shortcut Small App" which allows you to launch any app on your device through a shortcut on the Small App list. This app works particularly good with third party floating apps that do not use Small App API, such as Floating Translator... but I decided that I wanted to use it with the Status Bar Expander app to be able to access it from anywhere in the interface, instead of using a Home Screen icon.
Note: The Shortcut Small App can be used with more than 1 app but this will open a floating window and then you have to select which one to use, I prefer to use it with a single app.
Thanks again.
Diego.
Glad to hear that you found a workaround and sorry that this has taken some time.
This has been investigated and i'm afraid there's no native support to access it using a keyboard shortcut so the only way is using apps like the ones you found.
