As i don't know that language it's hard for me to answer your question or describe the problem if it doesn't work properly. I suggest you contact your local Sony Xperia support for assistance/feedback in this case: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Our country is Sri Lanka (ශ්‍රී ලංකා) and our language is Sinhala (සිංහල). It's not included in the above link or the number list. So can you please tell how to contact Sony for our problem without having a local office?

I even upgraded my Xperia go thinking that atleast now you are having improved new android OS, with knowing that there is a risk of getting my device stuck and suck off my batterries so soon as it uses more graphic stylings and as many users have complained about it in many blog sites. I know that I can't modify "DroidSansFallback.ttf" without avoiding my warranty. So please try to solve this problem.

Try the following email address for Sri Lanka: questions.lk@support.sonymobile.com.

To modify system files you need root access and that may void the warranty of the phone.

Hi Chathura,

As you said in sinhala, your post cannot be read from the sett browser. This is due to not installing the right font/unicode. what you need is to root your phone (http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/124152) and install the unicode application.

However this will avoid the warrenty of your phone.

Did you try to find any app that can use for this like SETT etc.

I too would like to have sinhala unicode support in Xperia devices. I use a Xperia Z1 and it doesn't support unicode. I couldn't view any emails, websites, Facebook comments and posts which are in sinhala. I would like to have native support and I don't want to root my phone to have that. Samsung had sinhala unicode support native from galaxy s. So I wonder why Sony can't do the same.

I just bought my Xperia Z3 two days ago, I'm not going to root it and loose warranty this early. Me too would really appreciate if Sinhala unicode support is available for my phone.
(I wonder I get to get my money back for this reason, I'm in Australia)
