About speaker

How to know whether there is a plastic covering over the speaker of the Xperia U. I opened the back cover and there is jet black covering over the speaker. Should i remove it to enhance the qulaity of the sound?

If it seems like a Polythene cover remove it, Otherwise plz donot touch it, Infact the Phone speaker sound seems to be Below Avg, i think we can expect sony to increase the Phone speaker sound in next update, bcos i see a lot of Dissatisfied users about Phone Speaker and its XLoud Feature.... 😞
