A peculiar problem that occured in my XPERIA L....
Last month i purchased the sony xperia L and have started using the handset 3 days back and in three days i have started observing some problems,though they are not that serious but still i dont expect that a 3 day old mobile phone of a latest family should have any problems in it......
Day before yesterday,an update version notification flashed on my xperia saying that "15.0.A.1.31" is available for your fone...
Immediately i opened that notification and it further said that the further process would be carried out by using sony pc companion,so i connected my fone with the computer and a message popped about the new version,then whatever was instructed i did and finally the updating process came to an end.....
But this wasnt actually the end. After 2-3 hours,i opened up my gallery and was shocked to see that all my photos disappeared,but when i checked my SD Card using file commander,i found that all my photos were there safe,but still i couldnt view my photos in the dedicated photo album...
Soonafter, i decided to repair my fone using pc companion which took another 3 hrs of mine but nothing came out of it,again the same problem had arisen that is after 2-3 hrs all the photos disappeared,but this time i pinned the photo widget on the homescreen and at that place i was able to see all my photos and could even view them by tapping. I was surprised,how could this happen,then again i opened that album section and just like that i tapped once and i found that the notification light and the bottom lit up which clearly states that the album app is working i.e it is opening the files but i cant see them in a normal way as the screen remains black,also while i was moving my finger from R to L,i could see that the light at the bottom is changing which means that it is showing the fotos saved,also the option for geotagging is available but the screen remains all black everytime.....
Had there been no files/fotos then it would have clearly given the msg like no files found...also the movies app that is for videos is working perfectly fine....
So,i request that a solution for the problem stated above should be provided for its permanent rectification coz the repair functionality has seriously failed to repair anything.....
I hope that sony would not break my faith in them...
