New firmware for sony is rolling out now..its just an device firmware update..still in ICS only

The new firmware is smoother,batterylife is also improved..still some bugs in camera and phone over heating needs to be solved...

Hope sony members will make sony xperia s better in Jelly Bean Update,,,

Hey, The update is not there in India yet. Several other countries are already getting it. Need the update soon to fix some issues like FM sound distortion, Lock screen wallpaper not working, Slow autofocus in camera etc.

Please release the official update soon as we donot want to manually update

I am from India and i have successfully updated yesterday using Sony Update Service.

Strange. But whenever i am connecting to PC companion, it is telling that my phone has the latest software i.e., 6....452

The same story when i am connecting to Sony update service. It is telling to re-install the OS again but that would wipe all phone data. Did you do the same?

Updates are according to SI No and i bought around the launch date from India from our Local Sony Store. Wait for a day or two and you will get ur update. Be patient friend .

MIne is also an Indian Product bought from India with SL no. 1264-4179 and bath no 12W16. Yes, waiting for the update

I am from India with 3318. No update yet. on 452 office firmware update a long time back. Not ok when APP load increases. Currently 120 apps installed.

We dont have a control of background services.

Not sure why lack of ram allocated on XS when compared to XP ie 643 vs 783

Why WIFI DIRECT is missing and incomplete in XP as no option to search for nearby devices.
