Hi, before I purchase a SanDisc 64GB microSDXC card, I need to confirm that it's fully compatible with the Xperia Play, since it apparently has an SDHC slot.
According to a post at xda-developers, the user claims it works.

Has anybody else tried a 64GB card in their X-Play?
Thanks
Just make sure you use the phone to format the card! Mine did work, until last week when I put the card in my SanDisk card reader and started transferring some new albums to it. All copied over fine, except the last one and then the card decided to "Blank". It needs formatting again now, which wasn't the fault of the phone as the card has been working flawlessly for months with around 10GB free. On top of that I've been having issues with the screen initializing. Once it's on, it stays on. I'll fix it myself, I've just got a new flex cable and I'm waiting on a new digitizer.. Hopefully I'll get it working again.
That's the same problem as mine the flex cable, but the shop i took it to are saying it's hard to get the parts, but type it in ebay and there you go, but i have no knowledge of phones.
How would i format it by using my phone?
Is this what you mean?

I made an edit to my last post. Without looking at my current brick of a phone, I can't give exact wording, but it's something like: System Settings > Storage > Erase Card (External).
