5.1.1 bug - headphone profiles don't stick

hello, I'm using Z3 compact on latest 5.1.1 software with Sony MH750 headphones. there's a headphone profile bug that changes sound output.

I've set MH750 as my headphones in audio settings. here are steps to reproduce the bug while listening to music:

1. open audio settings > headphones

2. switch from MH750 to General

3. switch from General back to MH750 - hardly any change in sound can be heard

4. now quickly switch from MH750 to e.g. MH410 and back to MH750 - the sound is now different than in step 3.

the most annyoing thing is that after listening to music for some time, the settings seems to be forgotten, so I have to repeat step 4 to get the sound profile for MH750 back.

that thread doesn't offer any solution. I've tried booting into safe mode, the issue persists.
