4K video recording?

I just saw some videos from MWC, and I noticed that there is no 4K mode/app in camera apps menu.

So Xperia X/X Performance will not have 4K recording?

I also noticed that there is no AR Mask app in apps menu.

I have watched some hands on reviews as well, no AR app but it doesn't mean it won't have the option.

Check down at applications, AR effect is listed. Not sure about 4K.

It states in the detailed specs.
Video recording at full HD (1080p)
Seems strange, but maybe 4k is reserved for Z series?
All guess work at the moment.

@Viridis That's true and looking at all the specs available, they don't match. So we have to be ok with what we have for now.

According to the specs it only says full HD recording. If you read the specs of the Z5 and Z5 Premium it says 4k video recording.

Rickard, do u think that's a good move to remove 4K ?

Or you think, pershaps, that's a prerogative for a phone with a 4K display just as Z5Premium ?

Do you think that in Sony have thinked about this for removing 4K ?

Because S820 supports fully 4K and you're doing 4K videos since Xperia Z2.

I'm afraid i don't have any information regarding the background for this decision so i can't say. I can only share the information i have.
