Surely it'll be announced on Monday. If not then I think we're owed a pretty detailed explanation of what's gone wrong. And I don't mean some mumblings about Vodafone Australia, who shouldn't dictate when Sony releases updates.
Unfortunately I expect the truth might be "We've not bothered to speed this update out at all, because we're concentrating almost solely on the Z range".
That might work for Sony for now, but of course in 6-8 months when they release their next flagship, the Z range forums will probably be full of threads like this.
