4.2.2 - update - bugs - etc etc in title

guys anyone posting here expecting a reply with any of the above in the header should just do a search on the forum, it's been mentioned over and over and personally I just delete the notification as there are many threads exist already - most other stuff is covered too if you do a search

Or can we simply create only 1 thread for 4.2.2 bugs and post all our thoughts in there instead of creating multiple threads?

Hi everyone. Giordano writting from Chile. I have an Xperia Z (C6602) factory unlocked, not rooted (all original). Today my phone was updated by PC Companion to Android 4.2.2. The first boot was OK and the system upgrades all the tools and programs. The second reboot (I doing this reboot myself for caution) the phone fails in the process and never start again. The screen only shows me a sign with the tool (config) symbol and a status bar... 15 minutes and nothing (see reference picture bellow).

Solution: Apply hard reset (on button and volume down) to shut down the phone and hard reset again to start it. After that, the phones works fine... but I'm really concern about if my Xperia Z fails again in the future.

Any comments or solutions are welcome

It wont happen as it didnt happen with me again, however its safer to have a complete backup of your data before updating, or you can avoid it by making an update with factory reset option

Wifi is major setback in the phone  after updation,  I am sitting hardly 1 meter away from the wifi router and i am  not getting a single bar in the netwrok,

the internet is not working...

anybody with  any idea on how to enhance the signal strength of the wifi in the phone.

i got a problem on my Sony xperia z handset.After updating to new version of android my phone works fine for 2 days.But today i switch off my phone and its not switching it on.Its showing some maintenance mode symbol from past 1 hour.Please help me out on this.
