3g problem

My mobile sony xperia c is about 7 months old and i have been using internet in 3g in my sim 1 port with its default settings. It was working fine since i bought it but now from few days i have been encountering a problem of low signal. I read on internet that if we change the settings of sim 1 to gsm only then the signal would again become good and it did work but my mobile data changed to 2g . I am not able to find any settings at which i can change my data settings to 3g. I am using a gsm sim card so when i put it to cdma then the sim card is not detected and when i change the settings to both cdma/gsm option then 3g network comes but with a very low signal usually just 1or 2 stand.

Also i have one more problem with my phone about its storage problem . It hhas a very low device memory . I have changed my settings to install my application on sd card but after  just installing 5-10 apps whose combined size might be about 200 mb ,my device memory comes to 150 mb. And i am not able to install any further applications .I have a 8gb memory card installed in my phone?

Hi, Mr. Gupta (I hope I got that right ;-). I also have a Sony Xperia C and it would be 2 years in coming November. I can't give the solution for your problem but I can tell you how I use it.
First of all, check other persons phones for the same network and compare your network with them. You would know if there's any network problem, but If there's a problem with your device, just hand over the phone to Xperia Customer services.
About the device memory, I also have the same problem. So I changed my priorities. Facebook app takes most of the space, so uninstall it first. You can use Facebook on chrome or UC.... Uninstall any unwanted apps. Use clean master to clean phone space every week or every 15 days.
Happy Xperiancé... 🙂
