3G on GO

I bought my GO in India 4 days back

Ive backed it up with a 3g connection, but whenever I connect to the net, the EDGE starts up

U need the 3g to connect, but im unable to locate the option on the phone that starts the 3g

Can anyone help???

You can do the following:

[Menu] > [Settings] > [Wireless & networks] > [Mobile networks] > [Network Mode] > [WCDMA preferred/GSM].
