Hi.
My Xperia S has been suffering from poor 3G connectivity since I had my firmware changed by PC Companion to 6.1.A.2.45. I was on 6.1.A.2.50.
Now, once or twice a day, I have to turn the phone off and on again to restore 3G connectivity. The background is that whenever I lose 3G connectivity (entering a tunnel, for example) the phone signal comes back, and I can use the phone, but, despite showing a G or an H on the phone signal icon, no data transfer takes place. Switching to aeroplane mode does not restore connectivity - I have to power off/power on. This never happened before and quite frankly is starting to really irritate me.
Can Sony please confirm for me if
Thanks in advance
Quick update: As I switched back from this screen to PC Companion, I see that I am being offered 6.1.A.2.55. I am upgrading now, so will report back if the 3G connectivity issue I am experiencing has been addressed in this version of the firmware.
Thanks.
Man! where are you from? I'm with the same problem! If this update really works please, post it again to me. I'm geting mad with this same situation!
Thanks
+1
I am also facing the same issue.
happens to me too, though simply turning off data and turning it back on resolves it...
On my SL, I try to power on/off, but it doesn't work. I have to power off/on to back to work... And My version is the last ;/ No luck again with SONY celphones ;/
