the shortcit for the 3D camera has gone from my home screen if i search in the apps shortcut pages it is not there but if i go to setting apps running it is there is there any way to get the shortcut back the phone is only 4 days old sony experia j my first sony phone thanks Mike
Well, the Xperia J doesn't have 3D camera, so it's not really strange that you can't find the icon for it.
Full phone specifications is found here: http://dl-developer.sonymobile.com/documentation/whitepapers/Xperia_J_WP_1.pdf
So why is it running in task manager in the all apps folder and it came with a shortcut for it
It's because the 3d camera software is included in our version of Android. The phone software is shared with other phones which have 3d camera.
Are you sure you had a shortcut to 3d camera? Where was it? In the main menu?
no was on the home screen but i deleted it along with some others that were there think they were e.mail and connot remember exactly
Hm, that's strange. And it's an Xperia J you have? Which software are you running (settings > about phone > build nr).
hi its 11.0.A.7.5
Well, I don't really know what to say here. I started up a brand new Xperia J with the 11.0.A.7.5 firmware and the only things on the home screen is the Google search and a clock. On the other home screens there are just a few widgets. No signs of 3d camera.
on my home screen there was google search clock. contacts e.mal . appsstore. 3D camera and not sure what else was mot much on other screens so can i shut it down in apps task manager ?
Sounds really strange. To close it, just open up the 3d camera under Settings > Apps > All and tap 'Force stop'.
