the 3.0 gingerbread requires 512MB RAM. but we only have 256MB RAM on out x10's. too bad. Slightly_frowning_Face

well your pretty wrong all round. theres 380mb, android will be at 4.0 IF you ever get, or at least by the time you get 2.2 so nowt here to get worried about. will be due an upgrade of my phone by then.

My X10 says it has 274mb of ram and not 256mb witch is odd

For your convenience I searched GSM Arena for this information.

It says there 384MB of RAM (aka Random Access Memory, temporary working storage) and 1GB of Internal Storage. Note the difference in the terms.

unless your saying that gingerbread runs on 384mb of ram your comment is of no use and has little point except to raise your post count lol, they were upset that it will never see 3.0

(which i for 1 never really expected to see anyway) From what i have heard 3.0 needs 512mb ram to work so even if it does have 384mb it still won't run it...

I read this and thought the guy must be crazy...have you been reading about the slow uptake of 2.1? Why would you be talking about 3.0 with X10? Maybe a later device but...and seriously, can't sit around all day with a device that's been out a while and then be surprised it doesn't meet the standards of tomorrow - that's inevitable! Are there any comparable devices that re upgrading 1.6/2.1 - 3.0? Hmm. I doubt it.

Notice he mentioned 256MB of RAM up there. It is just a friendly note, that he got the figure wrong. And didn't I say it will NEVER see 3.0? In fact truth is, it might not even see 2.2
