2011 Xperia bug fix

Almost six months ago, Sony Mobile announced to provide at least one minor update for 2011 Xperia devices, probably to solve some annoying bugs and software issues which some users are experiencing since mid last year!

To this day nothing has happened: No update or bug fix was released and no further information was given how Sony is going to deal with these problems.

Will I be able to use the notification LED of my Xperia arc S ever again or is Sony Mobile going to ignore this bug forever?

What I want is some inormation about how Sony is going to handle all the software issues in 2011 Xperias.

Will Sony keep its promisse and release further "maintenance updates"?
