I still can not update my smartphone Sony Xperia M dual model C2004'm in Brazil and until now not received the update notification.

I have checked the Sony site..it is saying latest software available is Jellybean 4.3 from 31 March 2014.

But now it is 2 April 2014 till now I dont see a update either in PC companion or in my update center(New).

Let me know when we will get it in India(chennai).

And someone who have updates already to 4.3 , please share your comments!!

Sometimes it take more for the update to reach,your country/carrier needs to approve the update.

Until today I have not received version 4.3 Jelly Bean for my Sony Xperia M C2004 dual model has the update that came out almost a week and so far I can not update it someone can tell me when the update is available for my device? Thank you.

Does anyone know what happens to rooted devices (Xperia M dual) when updating? Do I Ioose my root access or will I keep it?

The problem is that I use Folder Mount and Link2SD because of the low internal storage so that I would have a big problem if my root Access is lost.

You should still get updates if the phone is only rooted.

Sony released 4.3 update on 31st March n today is 8th May. Where is my updated???
Sony should at least tell d update progress so that we can have some idea abt its time of arrival. This is really annoying sony u hav to do something about it please dont cry about country/carrier approval. They r approving ur update and u dont knw how much time they need to approve it. Sony r u afraid of asking about ur update approval progress.
Grow up Sony. Value ur customers needs

From what I know,the root access will be gone after you update.
