If you want .207 before it is released in your country, if it ever will be, just use Flashtool to install the Australian Generic ftf, backup everything first though as a clean install is best.

If you want to preserve your apps and not have the hassle of reinstalling everything, providing you are on .205 already, use Flashtool to install the Singapore Generic version of .205. Uncheck the Appslog, Cache and Data wipes as a clean install shouldn't be needed being it's the same version. On restating the phone it will say .207 firmware update is available so install that either OTA or from PC Companion. This method worked for me, just google for the ftf files.

Yes it will work but please read up on using Flashtool first, it is fairly simple but the steps have to be in the right sequence to avoid any problems. It can be downloaded here.....

Firmware 207. My own experiences.

Pro: Runs much more smoother than v205.

Con: Battery life drops about 2% every 5 minutes.

4.1 was much better than 4.3. As we cannot play games more than 15 minutes.

Now me thinks Xperia SPs are for calls/texts and listen to music only. That's so not called smartphone. I'm unable to play Real Racing 3. I keep getting kicked out. Even Subway Surfers has a mini lag.

It's not a new update it's simply a modified generic firmware which will have pre-loaded apps etc and maybe different network settings and as such because of this will be renamed to .207 and not .205 but it is not an update to the .205 firmware
