Yellow spots on screen

Dear all.. Recently noticed a yellow spot on the right side top corner I.r near the time,half an inch may be.. What to do.. My phone is just 5 months old.. 

M much tensed..pla help

That's probably a hardware issue, but to make sure:

take a screenshot > trasnfer it to a computer or another phone > do you see the yellow spots ? if you don't then contact your Local support to get it inspected.

Also having the same challenge yet my phone is three months old. Yellow streaks on both sides of the screen

These "X" lines are the worst. This is my 3rd phone with this issue and nobody can tell me what's going on. As this issue happened with the XA Ultra, I made special care to have it in loosely fitted pants or not to place the phone in my pocket at all. I'm afraid that Sony won't own up to the screen being burned internally, causing the yellow marks. No, Sony it's not pressure marks as I made sure of that. Pls help!

Oh great, now it's worse and not a Sony rep in sight... 😒 the internals are burning the screen.

Hi, these yellow spots on the XA1 Ultra are very concerning. I am from the UK and was looking at buying this phone for a family member, but now I am having second thoughts about it because of this issue. Having read something about the XA1 Ultra on a forum, it says that Sony has changed the screen on the XA1 Ultra from revision 1 to revision 2. Some people have commented saying that revision 2 screens are not as good as revision 1 in terms of colour accuracy etc. My old Sony Xperia T is still workin, but unfortunately the screen has gone yellow over time. Sony need to sort this issue out asap if they want people to buy their phones. Just to add that I experienced something similar when I bought my Sony Z3 and found that Sony were using different LCD screens in their Z3's and some screens were better than others when it came to screen colours and accuracy. Similar to a panel lottery which in my opinion should not be happening at all. I will be watching this thread with interest!

I bought my xperia xa1 last January 2018. 2 days ago i suddenly noticed a yellow streak on the upper left of the screen. It cannot be ridden off. Is it some burning or what?

I'm having the same problem.. I only got this phone (Xperia Xa1) April/May of this year and a yellow stain has come up at the side. I used to have an Xperia M4 Aqua, which I had to have repaired twice, before I finally got rid, because it just had terrible wiring and kept breaking. I had a cheap naff phone, for a while after that. It was terrible but I was apprehensive about getting another Sony phone, after what happened to the last one. So I was smart about it (or so I thought) and researched so many different phones until the reviews of each one unequivocally led me in the direction of this one. I've had it a matter of months and already its done this?
