Yesterday my Sony Xperia XA was still at 50% when I left it on my table as I went to the comfort room, when I returned the screen was black so I thought it was just locked. I pressed the power button once yet the screen won't turn on so I repeatedly clicked it but nothing happens. I immediately went to Sony forums for a solution and tried the key combinations of holding the power button and the volume button up, I felt three vibrations and quickly pressed the power button again. The orange LED light lit up as I plug in the cable and waited. The screen was still black but vibrations and notification sounds are present, text and call ringtones are also heard but the screen was still dead. How can I fix this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
That seems to be a screen issue, you have 2 options, either 1 contact your Local support to get it inspected and repaired or 2 DIY, which might be cheaper BUT it will void the warranty.
The good news is that you are receiving notifications, so the damage shouldn't be more than the screen, in my opinon.

@uliwooly
Thanks, I will go to a near Sony branch and let them check it. I really hope the LCD is not the one that's damaged. Still wishing that it's only a loosed connection on the screen wires. Thank you so much!
