Brought a brand new XA1 from Carphone Warehouse two weeks ago. Yesterday it randomly switched itself off despite having approx 70% battery. Now I can't get it to load up. It says 'Powered by Android' on the screen then 'XPERIA' but won't go beyond this. If I unplug it from the charger it continues to say 'XPERIA' on the screen until the battery dies. Please help me!
Hi @Tuffsy123, welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this
Can you please try removing your SD card and SIM card and see if you still have the same issue?
Tried this but no change. Still the same problem.
I went back to Carphone Warehouse who have sent the phone off to be repaired. They said it was a software issue so hopefully it can be sorted. Unfortunately my phone won't be back with me until 30th October 😞
Got my XA1 back from Carphone Warehouse sooner than expected and they have fixed the fault. That's good.....
But now I have an issue with my SD card containing all my music and photos! My mobile doesn't seem to recognise it. Previously there was no problem and I have tried the SD card in my old Xperia and it works fine! Please find a solution for me!
Same with the Xperia XA,the exact same problemproblem. I think there is an issue with the X series and its that. I thought it to be a corruptted file so I managed to get on after trying many times to get on,and I factory reset my device. However, it did not work.
