Xa1 keeps switching itself off

My phone keeps switching itself off and will only turn back on if I plug it on charge. The phone doesn't die cos it maintains its battery. Its only 2month old

hi, i have had exactly the same issue, apparently my phone is bent around the power button - i sent it away and that was their response. only had it for 2 months. £214 to repair, bear in mind a brand new one is £130. fingers crossed yours has another reason

Sod that, I've only had mine 2month aswell and ya supposed to get 1year warranty with any electrical goods. They bumps haha

same problem. My phone just came back from servise and I get new IMEI so it is basically new phone. Before service there was other problem (screen), and now screen is OK, but the phone is switching off. I was trying to repair phone by Sony Xperia Companion but there is still a problem. Sony please say something about it, because it is a big problem.

Mine is exact the same. It might stay on all day, or it might turn off at any time;sometimes several times a day. My phone is also two months old. Surely not a coincidence. Sony should address this trend without hitting its customers with absurd repair bills that are considerably greater than the cost of buying a new phone. I've been a loyal Sony customer for many years, but this issue is testing my allegiance to its limits.
