XA loudspeaker not working

Hi there,

So earlier my speaker was working fine, and has always worked fine. Suddenly this evening it stops working. I now have no noise when it rings, when I play a video or music.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi @Sparkey, sorry to hear about this.

First of all, make sure that the do not disturb mode is activated in your phone. To check this you can either drag down the quick settings menu and tap on Total silence/Alarms only or "Priority only" or you can tap once on your volume up button and press "End now".

If the do not disturb mode is not activated in your phone, try restarting your phone in safe mode and do the test for the loudspeaker in Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Loudspeaker. While the phone is rebooted in safe mode all downloaded applications will not be loaded so we can see if any of them is the cause of this.
