Wi-Fi authentication problem

I have had the Sony Xperia XA1 ultra for about a month now and l am having a problem with home  Wi-Fi in which the phone fails to reconnect. Is there anyone with this problem? Right now I'm not happy with this phone and would not recommend it until Sony comes up with an update to you solve the problem.

I have the same problem did a factory reset. And no help. I find if you restart your phone it works fine for about 8hours

Thanks for your response! I have just tried the Sony XC repair and so far my phone's WI-fi seems to be working well. I hope that it continues to work. I will give it another five days!

I powered my phone off, waited 15 seconds and powered back on and whammo, it was connected!!! Hope yours does, too!!!

Try turning bluetooth off. There are multiple threads of others having similar issues, including myself.

Getting authentication issue with my home wi-fi which is working well with 3other phones of my family members.

It's annoying because I have to use my cellular data even at home.

Please help me sony.

go to router setting and

1) change security to WPA2-PSK

2) channel #11

3) SSID any 5 letters(no symbols */&!$%)

This fixes nothing. My router has only WPA-PSK available, and channel should not matter (as it is supposed to scan for the least busy channel).

I am having this Authentication issue, and it started after the last small system update. Both my phone, and my wifes have the same issue. The Wifi network is unchanged from how it was configured, and working flawlessly before. I did set up two other networks (different routers) to test, with the same result, so I am confident it is a phone issue.

I have tried a factory reset on my phone, to no avail. I will try a reset via XC next. It is quite frustrating, for sure.

Tried, no change. Have also noticed that since this issue started, there is very high battery drain from bluetooth.
