Volume down button stopped working

Recently one button switch was activated and was assigned to the volume down button, it was disabled soon after and was working fine. 

All of a sudden the volume down button isn't working anymore... I don't know if it needs to be reassigned?

It sounds like the issue may be hardware related. We can test the phone in safe mode to be sure, but I recommend you contact your Local support team to arrange a repair.

I rebooted my phone and it works now 😂

Maybe this issue should be looked into because this just happened to me with my G3223 even though I didn't assign the button to anything.

I ACTUALLY GOT THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND CAN'T USE NONE OF MY DOWNLOADED APPS. I'VE BEEN A SONY FAN FOR YEARS BUT THIS ISSUE MAKES ME THINK NOW.
