Vertical lines on screen Experia ZA

My phone has vertical lines that glitch in and out . I also lose the ability to touch sometimes when it’s blaring in and out.  I’ve tried methods that I had found on other people’s forums and I’m now doing a factory reset in the hopes that it’ll go away. Why is this happening? And what do I do to fix it if the problem persists? During the factory reset

well that's a hardware issue, and you can clearly see a cracked screen which means either a drop or pressure was applied to the phone.

Hi, the only issue is that the crack happened months ago so why has this ‘hardware issue’ only become an issue now?

There are myriad probabilities, you might want to get it inspected by your Local support

One way that might tell you if it's only the screen and/or something else is to take a screenshot > email it or send it to another phone or computer > if you see the lines then it is more than just a touchscreen and LCD issue.
