I just upgraded from the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua to the Xperia XA1 Ultra.
I did the backup of my old phone last night to be sure everything was fine and everything went well.
Now as I get home, connect my new phone to my computer, it's telling me that my previous backup isn't compatible with the new phone.
After digging around a little bit I think the problem is that my backup was on the 6.0 android and my new phone is on the 7.0!
I had not received any notification on my old phone to upgrade or anything along those lines, so basically i'd like to know if there's a way that I can get my information back (especially my contacts).
