Hello. When I use Google Voice typing or Google voice to text, the phone will generally accurately capture what I say as I'm speaking and represent it as text in the message field. But within a split second after I have finished speaking, it will delete everything that I just said and leave the message field blank.
Sometimes if I turn off voice typing immediately after I say something I can keep it from deleting the text of what what I just said but that requires almost Lightning Fast touch and kind of defeats the purpose of using voice typing as a hands-free tool.
This has been an issue on the last couple phones I've had. I have not found any support for it in the message forums. Thanks for any suggestions you have. This is beyond frustrating
Just the native text messaging app with in the phone. However this will happen in non text messaging applications. For example even when typing my original post I tried to use voice texting and it would disappear. But of course it is most common in text messaging since I use that most often.
I don't have this Xperia to test it, it works with different Xperias, could you test it in >>> safe mode
