System UI unresponsive after oreo update

Hi 

Ive been experiencing some system lag and touchscreen unresponsive. 

Sometimes its in the gaming app pokemon go sometimes its in messenger or viber. 

The screen freezes and unable to do anything. After a while it shows a popup message that system is not working. I can choose wait or closer it. 

This keeps happening and been a serious problem. 

Also i noticed that my signal strength  got weaker. And using data is not consistent. I get cut off easily. Pop up screen message

Yes it is happening to me also after Orio update. Also screen unlock does not work properly. Eventhough i set a pattern to unlock my device. When i press powerbutton, it response after 5 to 10 seconds. It is not even asking device pattern lock.

It seems like everyone has been having problems after the update. 

I believe the best solution is to do a software repair using Xperia Companion on your computer. Make sure you have updated to the latest version of Oreo first and do a backup of all your stuff. 

If you want your phone to be usable again, it is worth the trouble.

I have the latest Oreo version, then did the software repair, and have none of these issues.

The software repair wipes out everything, so yes, you'll need to restore your data afterwards.

To be more specific, everything on the internal phone storage will be deleted during software repair. Nothing on the SD card will be affected.
