Stuck in boot loop

This is a repost, because everyone's having the same problem. My phone is stuck in a boot screen loop. Like other customers I've tried hard restart, removing SIM and SD etc., things everyone would do to troubleshoot. Can Sony give me any real solutions, or has my 12 month old phone bricked? Does the MediaTek processor have an overheating problem? I need to know if I should just go buy another non-Sony phone, or if it can be fixed, and if not if Sony is willing to help us out.

Have you tried Software repair via Xperia companion (not mentioned in your post)? Heating when using the phone is normal (any running proccessor would heat up in any phone, and not only). If, after Software repair (fresh install) you have the same problem, it is up to you what brand you want to choose.

I am having same reboot issue, I am not able to backup not even mention to software repair, the backup has no chance to start and the phone already rebooting. Until now no solution from SONY? what kind of phone producer like this?

What happens if you turn off the phone using power and volume up pressed together until the phone vibrates 3 times? You can do that also with the phone turned off already.

By the way, software repair is done with the phone turned off. That would be the ultimate solution if you want your phone running, even if it means losing all data (unless you have backed it all up in your online account).
