Storage manager has stopped working

Storage manager has stopped working message keeps poping out when i want to clean my storage space. Did not happen before this new system update,which I personaly don't like. Help me how to solve this problem

One thing I would do is to reinstall the latest update with Xperia Companion

I don’t know how to make store manager to work, but you can free up space using Google’s Files to Go app.
