I am using the pre installed messaging app for SMS texts and have noticed that in the advanced section in settings for the app the option to enable a delivery report is missing, I like this functionality so I know the SMS text has been successfully delivered.
I have Android Oreo 8.0.0 and the latest version of the app called Messages.
I'd like to know could this be a fault with the phone or is this a network carrier issue?
I have the app update and have the option in msg+ settings+ advanced, you should try a reset or another carrier

Which app update? another carrier why? my carrier supports delivery reports.
