Regarding the device constantly updating. Have you very recently bought the device? The device is shipped with the latest SW version that was available at the time it was produced and since updates are released quite often, there may be updates available directly out of the box.
To make sure that you are installing a new update each time, go to Settings > System > About phone and scroll down to "Build number". Write down this number > apply a new update > when the updated has been installed and the device has booted up again, check if the number has been changed.
